These battery-powered lights are better than AC-wired lights because there is no chord to pull the lights off the window sill. There are many of these on the market, but this one has a good mix of appearance and features. The lights are best set up in a group (as on the same table together), where they can be programmed for two, four, six, or eight hours (your choice). You may have to study the instructions and mentally translate them into ordinary English, but once they are set, they can be distributed, and will repeat daily for as long as the batteries last (a few months). I put these out at Christmas, but found them so nice on dark, NH evenings, that I still am using them in April!
