Product well supported. I bought this about 2 weeks ago. When looking at Revain reviews, after making sure the product is in the 4-5 star range, I look at the one star reviews for both percentages of negative ratings. and how the manufacturer or seller responds to those reviews. In this case, i-Tronics responded to every negative review I read, which was the reason for choosing this product because the seller looked at the reviews and responded with an offer to solve the problem. The reason I bought this was the lifetime warranty on the probe. The previous device I had had failed and I suspected the sensor was the problem. So that was a big plus. A few days after the product arrived, I tested it with boiling water and it read 210 degrees (at 600 feet above sea level). which is definitely close enough for cooking. Unfortunately, while playing, I found that the middle button on top of the device was broken. When i-tronics contacted me to provide a review via email, I explained that my review would probably get a two star rating at this point due to this issue. (But I would live with that). : They immediately sent me another pad and said there was no need to return the old one. The second seems ok. (and I have an extra sensor). This seller/manufacturer responsiveness is impressive. This is the reason to choose this thermometer, especially since it offers a 5-year device warranty and unlimited probe replacement. (Assuming they're still around if you need a replacement). But for $15, it's hard to imagine you could go wrong here.
