When I saw this chess table on sale for about $40 I bought it and was sooooo glad I did. I've asked guests who come to my house how much they think I spent on it just to see it, and most have suggested $150 or more. That speaks volumes about its quality. It had a few small dents where the color/stain has faded a bit, but they are very small and barely noticeable. The only problem with assembly was getting everything centered as there are no pre-drilled holes for all the screws. So I had to try to install one part on top of the other and make sure it was centered before screwing the screws all the way in. However, assembly wasn't very difficult, I think it only took a few minutes. me about 20 minutes. Now everyone in my family plays a lot more chess and we had a lot of fun at the table. Trust me, this is a product you didn't even know existed!
