I got these for a trip to NYC where I knew we'd be doing a lot of walking, but it also was already showing signs of being a hot summer and I'd want to be cool. I was pleasantly surprised by these shoes. For our trip we walked 15,000 steps a day, and these shoes held up great! I never worried about my feet at the end of the day. I probably wore these 3 full days and even more evenings. I'm not sure if they have a lot more life for long waking days after this summer, but I do recommend these shoes. One note, they do not have a ton of arch support. That was not something I needed for these shoes but if you are someone looking for that, it is more that they are padded and thick enough to be comfortable, but it's not comfort from arch support, nor cushioned feet.
