Review on 🧪 JES 10 Ounces 26 Adhesive by Joshua Castillo

I bought this JES 26:1 because I have a Workforce 656-157 professional caulking gun and needed a little more force when applying Loctite Roof PU Sealant & Flashing or DAP Ultra Clear Sealant. This has about 10% more power, but the trigger travel is longer for the same amount of output. Also the anti-drip pressure release mechanism is too strong. If you're working with one hand, you'll find that the plunger plate has moved too far, requiring you to tighten it to re-dose. The great thing about this gun is that it has the longest foil hook I've ever seen. That's enough to pierce a film of Loctite 3x polyurethane adhesive, which has been known to leak within minutes of the trigger being released. Also, they stamped a metal bar right next to the J-hook to keep it from sticking out too far. What this did was limited forward movement once that notch meets the body and there is an 8mm gap between the butt plate and the front of the gun so you can't use the entire barrel. With my manpower I can push out the rest of the tube because it doesn't have that notch. If I have time I'll file it because the bar has about 16mm of room to move forward before it hits the corner. Update from 03/08/2019 saw handle. Of course you can do this with a file, and a good file is one for sharpening a lawnmower blade. wave and it works fine. I can use up the entire tube with a power reserve that, if you keep pushing, forms a rounded edge on the face of the tube.
