Purchased after reading reviews and comparing to similar ellipticals. It was not difficult to assemble, just time consuming. It was not especially well packaged, when attempting to open some of the packing I had to use scissors, since some of the wrapping obscured the pieces I cut the bubble pack and some of the pieces fell out.Assembly might a little challenging for those who are new to DIY due washers needing to be placed in a particular order however the instructions indicate the order and if you are attentive it should go well. It probably would be helpful to read through the instructions prior to beginning. It took me about 2.5 hours to complete assembly without help.Once assembled it *does* squeak even with abundant application of 'grease,' as directed but it is not so loud that it disturbs the neighbors as one review mentions although people in another room could hear it. It has a small footprint and is easily moved on a bare floor, it also isn't heavy so would probably not be difficult to move on carpet either.Being under 5' I find it easy to operate both the foot rests and the handlebars, the only issue is the width between my feet is a little uncomfortable but not so much that I can't use it.Overall it is good quality for the price, I would have given it 5 stars except for the issue with the packaging and the squeak, and although the manufacturer indicates applying 'sufficient grease' will eliminate the squeak I have not found that to be true.
