These are so comfy and cute! I have gotten lots of compliments on them and they go with a lot of what I wear. I changed out the laces to cloth ones instead of the round waxed ones they came with because they wouldn't stay tied tight. The zipper compartments are roomy enough for a couple of credit cards, bills, a key, they hold quite a bit. The boot is built in such a way that the stuff you put in those cubbies don't rub or interfere with how they feel while wearing. They don't feel too loose if there isn't anything in the cubbies either. I wear a size 7, ordered a 7 and they fit perfectly. I wear socks that come up past the top of the boot at ankle because like any ankle boots they will rub some there because of the natural bend of your ankles when walking. I haven't run through water or snow with them so I don't know how well the finish would hold up under extreme conditions but I have worn them for a few months now under normal conditions, inside and outside, and they still look great!
