Admittedly, I'm not old and don't have dentures. I actually use this product to remove odors from my KSO - Vibram men's shoes and Vibram Fivefingers Komodosport LS men's running shoes black/blue. When I exercise or run, I wear Vibrams without socks. My feet sweat a lot in ordinary shoes, but they really stink in these shoes. After about a few uses I soak the Vibrams in water and 2 of those Efferdent tablets. I leave it overnight and then wash it off. I let them dry in the sun and they are like new again. I usually have 2-3 pairs of Vibrams so I can go through the shoes while one of them dries. Before Efferdent tablets I tried tossing them in the laundry but the stench never fully came out. These denture pills are amazing. I also use Efferdent tablets to clean my retainers. As expected, they work very well. One day when I have dentures I'm sure Efferdent will do the job right. I wear the Night Guard mouthpiece at night so I don't grind my teeth at night. In the morning they smell. I found brushing with a toothbrush and toothpaste alone cleans it, but it takes a while to get into the grooves. These Efferdent tablets will keep your Kappa fresh and clean.
