When I saw this beautiful teapot and mugs in the store I thought how good they would look on the console table in my dining room. I also liked the idea of having really good jasmine tea with my husband. He thought it was a good idea as a Christmas present. Until we had to use it. Cleaning is a little more difficult than some kettles, and that's because they're a different shape than most. However, these instructions made it easy enough. The iron work is really nice and the red color is good. It should be washed in warm soapy water and dried thoroughly. The small cups are lined with porcelain, as is the teapot. The kettle stands on its small stand because adding hot water to make tea heats up the iron kettle. Whether for tea or decoration, it gave us a lot of pleasure.
