Years ago we installed a "dumb" 32 inch Samsung TV with the idea that we wouldn't remove it until it failed, so we threw away the pedestal. A month ago, television seemed dead. DH said he checked all connections (quite a lot as both a sling box and cable box were connected) and the connections didn't pose a problem. We ordered a new TV (now Smart) and I went to unplug everything. After that, I found that the power cord was actually loose. I replaced it with another one and bam! the TV is working again. No problem as I can put it in another room except for one - there is no pedestal. I was delighted to find something so cheap. But it was too big, so we lowered it. You can see he's still not as deep as he can go. It can also be much higher if you wish. It was originally about half the VESA 400x400 connection points. He was incredibly stable. The height adjustment was also possible without any problems. After installing it on a dresser, I found that the front of the legs could move in/out a bit (maybe 1-2 inches) to accommodate your needs. The stand arrived with a note reassuring buyers that it would work with 22-inch TVs, despite the box listing larger units.
