It took me few hours to overcome the power disable function problem. This is NOT advertised as an OEM drive so the sale is misleading. The Power Disconnect Feature (PWDIS) is intended for remote servers and is not intended for sale to general business and home computer owners. Instead, it is better to buy a retail version of the WD Purple or Red (7200 rpm) drive. I hope mine keeps working. (By the way, disabling PWDIS is quite simple, see photo). SELLER MUST PROVIDE AT LEAST ONE PROPER CABLE TO DISCONNECT PWDIS.
