When I ordered these safety eyes I was concerned that they would not be realistic. I was very positively surprised! I used them for a realistic drawing of a lion and it looks real! These safety eyes are made of clear plastic with small pieces of colored fabric that fit over the back of the eye. The safety backs are a little tight, but that's a very easy fix. All you have to do is poke something thicker than the hole or use the tip of a knife to trim off the excess plastic. I was also very impressed with the speed of delivery. I ordered them in early November and was told they wouldn't be delivered until December 1st-24th. They arrived on November 27th! Plus, the bags with those eyes are super cute! Overall, these are great safety eyes for any big project or big-eyed cutie. I would definitely order them again!
