Excellent quality transparent case for Switch Lite

This is a review and quick comparison with Hori Clear Case for Switch Lite. I bought this for myself and then got my sister's Hori Clear Switch Lite Case which I gave her as a graduation gift. This case is thin, but I don't mean it badly; In fact, the buttons are easier to use on this case than on the Hori. It still feels pretty solid except when you try to remove the case (which I don't do often) when it can flex a bit so it looks like it's going to break, but not too much. And it sits almost flush with the glass screen protector, making it as frameless as possible. There are small protrusions on the back of the Switch Lite controller that make it easier to hold and play. They're not very big and can feel a little underwhelming compared to the Hori case, which has a much more comfortable 'grip', but they still work very well. The buttons still protrude slightly from the thin plastic, so in use they feel about the same as they do on the Switch/Lite without the case; while the Hori case is much thicker and the buttons are then inserted into that case so they feel a bit odd when pressed. This case (seems unmarked) is perfectly cut around the buttons and d-pad and even the joysticks - it looks very nice in real life, especially compared to the large cutouts on the Hori's case. That's what I liked best about this case and it made me choose him over Hori. The case could have been closer to certain edges of the Switch Lite itself, making it easier to press the power and volume up/down buttons. If the cutout for the power/volume buttons were a bit wider and the part of the clip next to the power button moved closer to the L-shaped shoulder buttons (similar to the Hori body), that would be much better. The lack of a hinge mechanism on the bottom of this case makes it more comfortable overall than the Hori. It's also a lot easier to open - the hori case in the photos wasn't cut off completely because it was VERY PAINFUL to take it off! In this case, it's a little tedious to pull out the clips, but it's a lot easier than Hori. The quality of the plastic isn't all that different between the two, although the Hori felt slightly better, but it's not that far off. This one, by comparison, fits better on the Switch Lite's front (button cutouts, not like the thick, more accessible d-pad/action buttons); easier to remove; no annoying hinge; has good support with bulges on the back; but lacking Hori's stand; the power button is difficult to press (cutout not wide enough); Thin plastic may seem flimsy to some. Hori has slightly better quality plastic; better grip on bumps; STEP; but the hinge is annoying; sunken/flush buttons; and difficult to remove. Overall I find this very comfortable to use for the Switch Lite. I bought it mainly because the Spigen case I got for the Switch Lite was a bit big for the Tomtoc's ultra-slim case, and this fits perfectly in this carrying case. I think this is a very good hori alternative as I'm sure the plastic can scratch/break over time like all clear plastic cases. It's cheap, you can stock up on a few as spares in case it breaks or gets too scratched to handle.
