Double boxed I had no problem putting it on a newborn's head for amazing newborn support. However, they are quite large and would even suit me with a slightly "stretched" look. The fabric is very soft and definitely stretchy. I had to remove the inner label, it scratches and is surprisingly a bit difficult to remove leaving a few small holes. Still cute and definitely not bad for the price for what you get. Plus, it really added some excitement to the photos.
