I usually try to leave positive reviews, but i deeply regret this purchase. Today i used my first bag. A thin blanket and some chopped up memory foam. I put it in the bag and sealed it. Simple enough. When I first started using the pump to suck out the air from the bag, i was delighted to suddenly hear the foley sounds of a pull whistle. To my surprise, the pump is actually a whistle and not the suction device I’d originally expected it to be. It was extremely comical how loud and obnoxious this pump was. However, I realized it was never going to get the air out so I had to use my vacuum cleaner instead… Big mistake. My trusty Hoover’s never had any issues over the few years I have owned it- never. not even once - but it broke while trying to use this product. I am trying not to let my anger, frustration, and heartbreak affect this review, but my vacuum died sucking a trash bag, and that’s a pathetic and humiliating way to go. Side note- apparently the bag is waterproof against tears. If it’s waterproof against a runny nose i will update, as i have bad allergies and no longer have a vacuum cleaner to clean my house, and all the dusty linens are sitting out unable to be bagged. I hope this one bag remains partially sealed for the rest of eternity, maybe then it will earn 5 stars, but I can’t afford to replace my $200 vacuum and this purchase was a major loss to say the least. I’m trying to pack and move things. i need my vacuum cleaner back. Maybe this was all just a coincidence, or an unfortunate accident, but i believe it was cold-blooded murder. If you love your vacuum, maybe don’t buy these bags :cAll jokes aside, I’m extremely upset about my vacuum. Thank you for the whistle though.Edit: 2 bags stayed airtight for a couple months. The pump is obnoxiously loud but works & eventually gets the job done. Most bags stayed sealed for a few days then puffed back up.
