I have two versions of the Night Wrist Sleep Support, one for each wrist. For years I have woken up from time to time with severe pain in my wrists and arms. It was like increased tingling when you lose circulation. However, unlike the loss of blood flow, you have to wait out that terrible pain. It was bad enough that I walked around the house in the middle of the night fighting back tears of pain (and I have a decent tolerance). Although I've asked my doctors about it several times, none of them have ever raised the problem of carpal tunnel. After reading this thread, I learned that this is a fairly classic symptom of the disease. If this sounds familiar to you, I strongly (!) recommend buying these braces for yourself. They definitely limit your ability to use your hands, which is why I put them on right before bed. You can't just hold a book in it, for example. I find them very comfortable to wear while sleeping. My hands never get hot and I don't even notice my hands falling asleep which is a real gift. Not one night of sleep disruption due to carpal tunnel pain - what a gift. Love me!
