I like a casual dress to go shopping in. You definitely won't be going out in it at night... Unless it's super casual. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because most people love pockets, but I find that pockets right on the hip affect the slimness of the dress and the figure. I don't care and I don't need pockets if I have a wallet. I know it has pockets but if I knew they protruded so much at the hips I wouldn't order this dress but I will order another one from the seller haha despite that fact because that's still it a beautiful dress and the fabric looks very comfortable. I only received it a few minutes ago so delivery was fast and I appreciate it. I recommend this as a very cute everyday summer dress and I will probably hand wash it as it is quite fragile for me. For this price if it lasts a season or two I'll be happy. I love the EMPIRE chest line. This style suits me very well and is not easy to find so I ordered another dress from the seller a few minutes ago. All in all I am very happy with this dress and it meets all my needs for everyday wear! If you are very lucky and don't want to accentuate your hips, I would think twice about stressing or wearing a long sweater, long sleeve shirt or jacket to cover your hips. I have hips but I'm fairly proportioned so that's fine, but it might not be for everyone. A cape over a dress would be perfect if you're worried about wider hips due to splinter pockets, at least for me, maybe not for everyone else.
