I chose these for the look and construction. I'm size 8 for women (size 6.5 for big kids). They are BEAUTIFUL and have held up pretty well so far (I received them on a Wednesday). The only thing I complain about is that the shoes are snug on my foot. I tried untying the laces to see if that would help, but that wasn't the problem. The foam insert didn't seat my foot properly, making it too tight and causing pain. After I removed the insert it was fine and still very comfortable. **Note: I've never had a problem with shoes for big kids, as I'm generally short.** Still, I don't regret the purchase!
