I bought this device 2 or 3 years ago. It went wrong. Bought a second one despite quick cancellation and it didn't get good reviews as no other product in this category and price range seemed to have good reviews. Also, it's for my mother-in-law, who is already used to using the previous one. So since no alternatives seemed like a much better choice based on the reviews, I decided to give this product another try as my mother-in-law was already used to how it works. I hope this one has much better durability. Both old and new units work well when they work. I noticed that the old version of this product had its own tuner but the new one didn't. This isn't a problem for my mother-in-law as she only uses it to view purchased content, but it can be a problem for some.
