These are quality rugs that I have used before. They are hard wearing in Arizona's desert and sandy climate. They have a nubbed rubber base. I use them over new car carpets to protect them for as long as possible. I just throw them away when they're dirty enough. Nothing left to say. However, I deduct 1 star for the packaging - I have to deduct 2. They are held together with THICK wire clips. It took me 15 minutes to remove them with pliers and a screwdriver and they left serious dents that will never go away. If you can't use tools to remove staples (they need to be bent to avoid damaging the carpet), make sure you know someone who can before you buy them. You'll have to come up with some other way to secure them for shipping.
