I am 6ft 6 inches tall and weigh 380 pounds. Bought this chair for my home office. Within two (2) months the straps on the back came loose with staples. fall on the ground. After a few more months the cylinder began to fail - I sat in it and after about 15-30 minutes the chair slowly lowered to the lowest point. For a 6ft 6in person who had both knees replaced two years ago, getting up from this position is painful. My daughter contacted Flash support (absence). (Sidebar - you can only call or email them; REALLY? It's 2021 and no email or chat?) After daily phone calls for about 2 weeks, the company promised to ship the new cylinder and chair back. These parts were received in about 6-7 weeks. The back, although different from the original, came out well. The cylinder was just that - just a cylinder. The problem is that my chair has the cylinder built into the base of the chair. We are now in an endless game of waiting for someone to answer the call in Flash. I suspect this will all be resolved sometime after June 5th - the day after the warranty expired. The chair is very comfortable when working properly. If you have an issue that requires customer support, forget it!
