I have only used this for 1920*1024 monitors so far, but the picture is indistinguishable from that that a short 5ft cable or so produced. Haven't had a chance to use it with 4K yet, will update when I do. So far, great purchase!Update: Testing with my 4K LG monitor and a 2 monitor setup, one a 4K the other a standard 1920*1024 monitor revealed some problems. The picture quality on the 4K monitor is still the same as before so this is good quality.However Windows has troubles recognizing the monitor during boot. It turns on and off but does not recognize a signal.I had to make a setup where the 1920 monitor is my primary display device (also through this cable btw) and turn off the 4K monitor during startup or reset. Once I am logged into Windows, I can turn on the 4K monitor and it will be used as second monitor without complaints.Since this was not the case when I had the computer sitting next to my desk with short cables I am forced to conclude that the reason for this behavior is the cable. Therefore I remove one star.Otherwise the cable is great and the picture quality is superb.
