Like all good things, they eventually come to an end.

We got these walkie-talkies for my daughter's birthday in March this year to give her a little more freedom when playing with friends. I will say they are very nice, they work long distances and because of all the channels and codes we are never bothered by external walkie talkies and there are a few kids in the area who can talk to mom and dad, while they are traveling and around. They were great initially, my daughter loves them, love that they are rechargeable. Her friends' walkie-talkies are draining their batteries like crazy. Several mothers asked about their walkie-talkies and where to get them. We've had a few glitches with one of them, usually after leaving it on overnight we just let it sit and you're good to go, but now fast forward 4.5 months to July 2021, they do the one well, we had outages with problems. The last 2 days we tried to charge it but it doesn't charge, we plug it in to change it, it lights up like it's charging but after 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours and so on , when you turn it on it's still dead and chirping and today it won't turn on at all, it still lights up when you plug it into the charger but nothing else happens. It's very disappointing because my daughter loves it but I can't bring myself to pay almost $40 more for 4 months of play. They're great as long as they last. But like all good things, they eventually come to an end. Until I find something new it looks like my baby is in a bag of shit until I find something new.
