I just removed this wallet after three or four years of heavy use. The skin on the surface is worn in many places, but the stitching is preserved and the wallet is intact. Internal horizontal pockets stayed safe and sound. One star deduction for two reasons. First, the outer pocket covered only about two-thirds of a credit card, opened quickly, and often let cards spill onto the floor: Luckily, I or others always noticed, and not a single card was lost. Second, the clear plastic ID window deteriorates, stretches, becomes cloudy, and prevents your thumb from ejecting the card from the start (I don't know why different manufacturers put these windows in at all).
