Love these bottles to death! I bought the first set two years ago and they are all still fully functional. The only part that didn't stand the test of time were the finger loops, which broke on some of my original sets. This is definitely not a deal breaker! I love these guys and with the right care they will last you a long time. Firstly, I hand wash them all, although I've used them in the dishwasher and haven't had any issues. I don't usually smell weird smells unless I'm lazy and wash them frequently (the ones I use with water). I've also used them for smoothies and after washing my hands I noticed that a bit of the smoothie smell lingers. I haven't found any plastic bottles that don't, so this isn't a deal breaker either. Plus my brother uses them too so the color coding helps us keep our bottles separate. I use green for my smoothies, blue for my water and my brother uses red. I like the volume too, 20 oz. Perfect for my smoothies, plus it's perfect for my water when I'm at work or playing basketball.
