As a buyer I would like to share my experience. I bought this item with high expectations and also bought two webcams from another Amazon retailer for my kids Zoom activities. This item was much more expensive than the other two webcams. I was happy with this product for the video quality, but the microphone and sound quality were terrible. There was too much background noise. I don't think that should be the case at this price. I reclaimed it and got a new one from the retailer of that item. But its function was the same. I was very disappointed with the poor microphone function and poor sound quality of this webcam, which prevented me from hosting large meetings with others effectively. The cheaper webcams mentioned above had much better sound than this webcam. Even the microphone and sound on my laptop were better than this webcam. If you plan on using an external mic and sound then it's an okay purchase. If not and you need to use a microphone and sound, I don't recommend buying this webcam.
