I only wanted this for the pedometer function but it counts my steps very often. One morning I confirmed the issue, sat down, checked the number of steps (237), then got dressed while I stayed. After getting dressed without getting up, it was 289 steps. So yes. However, it got an extra star because I accidentally washed it in the washing machine and it came out like new. Which isn't saying much, but any wearable that can handle heavy soiling, an extra rinse, and a hot wash gets insane props.
