Let me start off by saying I've never, ever had heel or foot problems. Then one day my heel starts hurting and I can barely walk. This went on for about 5 months. To the point that I had to go to physical therapy because my walking pattern changed and I had to re-learn how to walk as I was trying to avoid placing my heel on the floor and walked with a limp. This ended up really damaging my leg and put the other bones out of wack. In the meantime I went to therapy as I said twice a week and had my doctor create custom made insoles which were around $400 (!). Desperate to get better and as I had a Europe trip coming up in a month (which includes lots of walking) I ordered these in hopes it would help. I truly believe this helped me heel so much faster than therapy ever did. I say that because this provides the cushion to get my foot in the rhythm that it's ok to place my weight on the floor and walk normally. Within wearing these for about 2-3 weeks everyday I no longer had heel pain.HIGHLY recommended.
