I've only made meatloaf once and it didn't get too big and tight! But it was a free hand and not a saucepan. This is my second time making this and it turned out perfect! This is also my first meatloaf pan. It pairs perfectly with my new Wave oven, allowing me to save money while still making delicious food. It's small enough not to touch the plastic part of the oven so it doesn't melt. But! This is the large pan I wanted in case I had any doubts. The pan is quite deep so you end up with a nice thick meatloaf. This pan is enough to feed 7-9 people! The center of the pan is high enough not to get into the fat, I'd say 1 to 3/4 inches off the bottom. Thanks to this company for making a quality product at an affordable price, I'm no longer afraid to cook this dish! 🙂
