If you like the Istanbul board game, you will (probably) like this version of the dice game. The core mechanics of the game are the same; Acquire resources or money to trade or buy rubies. I like Istanbul, but this game isn't easy to set up (and we're using a coffee addon that makes it longer) and it's quite a long game, even with few players, so it's a good alternative if you fancy it have to play the same game but only 20 minutes.
