Review on ๐Ÿ“ฑ Samsung Galaxy S10e Screen Protector - 2-Pack Transparent Protective Film by Doyun Won แ Œ

Disgusting, will never recomend it for anybody!

My first and last hydrogel film. I took it at a price of about 800, completely relying on the manufacturer, and not knowing a number of features of this kind of films, flattered by the fact that I really liked the original case on the s10e and came up. Included: - 2 films; - a solid spatula for dispersing air under the film with a border of the working part made of some dense fabric; - stickers for cleaning the display from dust particles. I spoiled one film right away, literally at the stage of releasing the adhesive layer from the protective sticker (for some reason I turned it upside down with an adhesive layer for a second, an impressive speck of dust immediately flew in, stuck and could not be carefully removed), it was my own fault. I approached the process more thoroughly and glued the 2nd film quite successfully at first glance. As a result, the film seems to live its own life. During operation, from influences that I donโ€™t even understand when they occur, dents appear on the surface of the film (sometimes under the dents there are ridges of small bubbles) that then disappear, but in parallel in other places new ones constantly appear and so on in a circle. I want to note that the s10e is used as carefully as possible, worn in a separate pocket and generally protected in every possible way. Along the edges (although not around the entire perimeter), you can see that the film is barely noticeably moving away and does not adhere tightly to the display. And it was visible immediately after gluing. I didnโ€™t seem to break the technology, I glued it in one movement, centering and aligning the holes almost perfectly (just lucky). Not a single speck of dust hit, pre-degreased. As a result, the appearance of the front of the s10e personifies horror for any little bit of a perfectionist and is not comparable to what glued protective glasses look like (used on an old phone). The film has a weak oleophobic coating. If it was at the beginning, then after a month there was no trace of it left. It sticks to fingerprints and dirt, which are not easily removed, and often quite noticeably distorts the image transmission on the display with the help of these spots.

Pros
  • Does not affect display responsiveness
Cons
  • 1. Price 2. Short-lived oleophobic coating 3. Appearance during operation 4. Closes exactly only the display, but does not cover the entire front part (in the corners of the front glass part of the smartphone, areas about a millimeter wide remain unprotected) 5. Loose around the perimeter 6. There are no alcohol wipes for cleaning the display
