We bought these to roast marshmallows and hot dogs on the gas stove and campfire at the beach. When we first used them, one broke immediately; he was definitely wrong. The rest worked fine, but the metal is thin and flexes a bit. Therefore, they will most likely continue to break or deform to the point where they cannot be folded. Another disadvantage is that they are not long enough. They're fine, but an extra leg would be fine. Basically, every time we use them, I'd rather find a stick and use that instead. If one of the sticks weren't defective/broken AND if they were a foot longer I would probably give them 4 stars because they were good for the price. The included bag is a great way to keep them together when not in use and to transport them when you go to the beach.
