Unlike this product, they are fairly airtight so the acetone doesn't evaporate. The ones I've knitted allow air to get onto the cotton and evaporate faster than my manicure can remove it. You may be wondering why I gave it 1 star when the product performs better than the competition. I honestly hesitated whether to give 1 star or 3 stars. Thing is, it's ridiculous that only a woman of a certain size can use this product and I find it ridiculous that at 110 pounds I still find these things too tight around my thumbs. Yes, they work better than clicking. I can even type with them. But I'm a bit annoyed that they don't come in larger sizes. And I didn't see "small hands" or even "one size fits all" (which would be a big lie) anywhere on the packaging or in the name. I bought these after reading other reviews and knowing I was feeling tightness around my thumbs. But that they fit snugly around all my other fingers? For a product that looks like a one-stop solution to using aluminum foil, I find it a shame that only a woman my size or smaller can get any decent use out of it. I mean I'm tiny. So I think it's more important to rate it 1 star instead of 3, but here it is. I know a lot of people say that you should judge a product by how well it scores in the stars, but I think it fits.
