Hardwood floor with no rug/carpet and it's working perfectly! I can fit 8 under the bed (cal king). Only concern is the material used for the bottom, depending on the type of flooring it may be hard to slide out from under the bed. Edges/top seem sturdy if you're storing soft items
- This product is very roomy they fit under my bed perfectly looks nice and neat!
