First of all, these are not contractor bags and should not be compared to bags of this type. If you do, you will be very disappointed. These bags come on a roll and you tie the tops together by grabbing both sides and tying the bag to itself. That means if you're using them in a 25-gallon can, don't plan on overflowing and grabbing the edges of the bag and tying it shut. They are really good for everyday use for shredded paper, regular paper towels, containers. and takeaway boxes as well as regular junk from desktop bins etc. They open wide when pierced with something like construction debris so it's not for that type of load and not shoving into a hard compacted batch to try pull out of the can. It'll just rip when you try to get this mess out, so make sure to empty the container when it's full instead of smashing it. They work well in our kitchen with no leaks or crashes. Recommended for everyday use.
