The monitor stand does the job but is a bit tricky to set up initially unless you have someone to hold it. Most problems come from the monitors themselves if they don't have a proper back plate because they are more difficult to install if they have some protrusion blocking the mount together. The monitor stand becomes unstable if you don't have the right hand position and tends to tip forward once you start setting up monitors, so it's good to have a second person to steady it until the rest is added. With all the monitors on and the mounts positioned correctly, they work well, although the mounts are a bit tight, requiring some force to get them in place. What could be better in terms of stabilization.
