Works almost too well!

I bought this to hold my 7 inch Kindle Fire HDX in landscape mode. The stand uses spring-loaded "fingers" to grip the tablet. Most of the knot that holds the tablet is covered in rubber, so I'm not worried about the Kindle getting scratched or anything. I have two small problems. 1. Since the Kindle has a power connector, you must place the device fairly far into the stand so that your "fingers" do not touch or block the connector and cable. The top fingers are only on the edge 2. The spring-loaded fingers are very strong Inserting the tablet into the stand is easy, put one end in your fingers and then pull the opposite fingers from the middle and the tablet falls inwards. Pulling it out is a bit more difficult, you have to hold the tablet with outstretched fingers and then pull the tablet out, that works, but it's definitely easier with a third hand. Trust me, your tablet won't fall out of this thing. It pivots and tilts back and forth with a well-weighted base, so it doesn't have to move. Also, it only took about 2 minutes to assemble, inserting the stand into the base and attaching a screw at the bottom, done. still happy
