Everything about this thermometer works well. It's well thought out and stocky, making it easy to grab and insert into the meat. I love the movement of the switchblade probe - it's instantaneous and feels great when it pops out. Finally, the magnet on the back is strong enough to prevent the thermometer from slipping or sliding off the sides of the fridge. The measurement is quick and the backlight stays on. So when I open them up and stick them in the flesh, I know I can take a quick peek and see the temp gauge without having to push a button to see the light again.
