Better than some $800 sliders.

I bought it for emergency video shooting. Before purchasing this slider, I also tried the GVM Auto Wireless Slider for $360 and the Kessler Crane Stealth for $800. In the end I chose this Neewer slider because it simply outperforms the other two sliders in terms of smoothness. when used exclusively as a manual valve. It's very easy to use, quick to set up, and the added counterweight helps stabilize the video and panning motion significantly. Not only that, the rotary knob can help you take some very slow panoramic shots without a fuss. With an automated slider, setting up just one scene takes a lot of time, and if you switch scenes frequently, it becomes a chore. And with the Kessler Stealth, the lack of a counterweight makes the movement very distracting (it's really meant to be used with your second shooter plus an auto kit that costs over $1500). So if you are a budget conscious videographer, I highly recommend this slider. because it does its job well with the smallest budget. The only thing I don't like about this slider is the attachment mechanism. It only has 1/4 screws on the plate. All in all great value for money and definitely a keeper!
