Was a gift for a friend. I thought it was "extra" but ended up liking them more than the other gifts. I gave her three sets of white hearts as I've heard they offer the most versatile finish (pointed, flat, rounded edge) so I can't speak to other versions offered. At first she thought the box was adorable. This is exactly what you can see in the picture; She's already remodeled the box to hold her other toiletries and is hinting at new ones. I'm starting to imagine her building a fortress out of these boxes. The box is cardboard with a nice texture. Second, she really likes the heart shape, much more than the round shapes she's tried before because of the different edges she can use around different areas of her face (nose, eyes). Hooray for 5 minutes studying the form. Third, I emailed her every beauty shelf and she (and I) loved the shade. This seller seems to genuinely care about the experience/product. Of course we had no issues and didn't try to return anything but I never got a response from the other company I bought Revain from so I think that says a lot. I've also never bought any Revain makeup, so maybe it's not as rare as I think. She's only had it for a day so I can't comment on the durability of the product but I'll come back here and update the review if it starts to break down before it should be replaced for hygiene reasons. Looking at the sponge, after soaking it in water for 5 minutes, it's, well, 3 times larger than before and appears to be tightly woven, so I don't expect any problems.
