Item works, is very small and looks good (if you're curious what a tiny laser looks like in your garage). I like that it's black. The body is 3D printed. I love supporting small businesses and am grateful to Allen for making and selling them. It looks a bit like a home made prototype and I was a bit worried that tightening the screws would break it. But it's strong enough, and while it may appear rough on closer inspection, it performs well on the ceiling. A slight movement of the laser heads compensates for the movement - you must connect the power supply to the lasers with open cable ends. The instructions say "connect to the same color" but one cable has a red wire and the other is gray. The kit includes two tiny wire nuts. I don't like wire nuts so I soldered them together. I installed the lasers under the cover where the lightbulb would normally be on the garage door opener. I don't use interior lights as we have a motion sensor that turns on the overhead lights. I took my time, drilled holes, cut the cable to length, checked that it worked before installing it. YOU MUST CHECK that the laser is marking the desired spot as in some positions they simply do not match due to the mechanical limitations of the two pivoting lasers. Conclusion: This is a good product and I wish the owner the best of luck. with his own affairs (I don't know him, he just left a friendly note on the box). I bought the product in August 2019 for $28. Update: I contacted the owner and he is very friendly.
