Review on Craft Tastic Elephants Craft Makes Yarn Wrapped by Anthony Epps

As a father who has done a lot of crafting with my children I would caution you to think carefully before buying this for an 8 or 9 year old. We have experience with such projects. My daughter and I made a yarn tree together and we were both able to contribute to the project and it turned out beautifully. Wool elephants are a completely different animal. This project is not suitable for children. This is an incredibly lengthy project for something that sits on a shelf collecting dust. The tiny sticky squares (which you have to measure and mark yourself) will drive you crazy trying to peel off the backing. The ear preparation is a separate project. I could go on and on, but I'll summarize in bullet points since I've already spent far too much time being wrapped in elephant yarn: - The investment of your time (probably not your child) is HUGE. - Sticky squares will drive you crazy. .- The project will be on your desk for weeks.- Once you cross "Kill the Elephants" off your to-do list, CELEBRATE.- You'll never want to do anything again.- I hope it doesn't happen . get at it, but you may never look at elephants with the same LOVE as you used to. I don't write many reviews but would advise you to avoid it. Looks nice but not worth it.
