I really tried to come to terms with it. I changed the speed settings, lowered them twice from what I was used to - from 12 to 7. I turned on the "increased pointer setting accuracy", which is unusual for me, but allows the trackball to be more accurate (I recommend everyone to try with this setting). I tried to get used to switching to precise mode - it lowers the cursor speed by about five times, but I was not ready to turn it on and off every time. I changed this mouse in the store three times, in the hope that I got a marriage, but they all suffered from this problem, to a greater or lesser extent. The bearings (or whatever you call it) were clean. And I called Logitech support - they advised me to return it, and I returned it. But the trackball on the exhibition copy in the store rode as if greased and had no such problem. I'm assuming this is a marriage of the party or how else can this be explained? This is the main problem that I could not come to terms with in 10 days. There are others, for example - because of the bevel, the scroll is convenient to click to the right, but inconvenient to the left, because on this side it sticks out less. The scroll is also very tight on pressing, I have not seen such ones yet. Yes, and saved Logitech on it, they could put their own magnetic scroll, as in many other MXs, even cheaper ones. And this mouse costs 6500-7000, after all, above average, as for me.
