I like this item for most applications, but when I tried using a wireless mouse with the receiver in this device, the mouse got harder and harder to control. I suspected the mouse battery, but changing that didn't help. I tried moving the mouse receiver to a different USB input on this docking device, but no help. Then I tried moving the mouse receiver to a USB input on the laptop, and the mouse worked perfectly. I put the old battery back in and it still worked great. I've had no problem with my wireless keyboard or with other wired devices, just the wireless mice. I tried some other wireless mice with the same result.
