Bought a set of these needles. I wasn't sure if they would match my counter(s) but since they had the characteristics I wanted I took a chance. They really are exactly what I wanted. The wires are terminated at both ends with shielded banana plugs. One end connects to the gauge and the tips connect to the other end. The reason I like this design is that I can easily change the tips depending on what I'm trying to do. For example I could have an alligator clip on the black (negative, ground) wire and a sharp tip on the red (positive, power) wire. This makes inspection easier while still having a free hand to make adjustments (or eat a sandwich!). With this design I have a variety of grommets but each individual lure does not have a full long wire which reduces bulk. Pointed probes have an insulating sleeve that leaves only the tip exposed, which helps prevent things from exploding when measuring in crowded places. The sleeve is removed when you feel alert. The crocodile clips are a bit lighter, but quite suitable for their purpose. This set fits all three (yes, three, don't judge me) of my gauges. Just make sure your meter supports a shielded banana plug - most do. I was so pleased with this set that I bought another one. try them; I think you will be satisfied.
