I like how easy it is for customers, partners or even employees at remote locations who have limited access/bandwidth with their home office can connect via VPN without having costly enterprise connections installed in all offices across an entire continent! The cost of bandwidth would be prohibitive if you wanted users outside your corporate firewall connecting frequently but not every few hours. This helps manage costs significantly because they do pay per GB used over certain usage limits. Also very simple.
