The compartments are wider and the dividers slide so you can fit more than just floss, which is great for my "travel box" of embroidery supplies. What, doesn't everyone have a travel box of embroidery supplies? In any case. The plastic is heavier than the D brand, feels very strong without being bulky. The hinges are real hinges and I don't think they will warp or crack from overuse. The clamps are also separate parts, large in size, easy to open and safe to close.
