My daughter and I have had this wand for a few weeks now and have used it several times. Warms well and is easy to use. We have never used a glove. We also like that it has a piece of plastic to cover the end so there's less chance of accidentally burning it. The main downside is the smell. At first I thought it was just because it's new. Still smells after many uses. Sometimes flat irons and other hot curlers give off an odor because they heat the hair so much. However, this is the only product we have used that made the hair smell bad. It stinks all day. We're going to try lowering the temperature this week and trying again, but I'm not sure if we'll get the same curl at a lower temperature. ? Or if the smell persists. And one more thing, the finish is coming. Not against the law, but still.
