I bought the size that are supposed to be a nine there closer to probably an eight maybe an 8 1/2. These are phenomenal. Just make sure that you order a size a wee bit bigger than you would normally wear. They do have some elastic in the ankle area that keep them on your feet. They are really warm and I usually end up kicking them off because they keep my feet so warm. But I wanted something that enclosed the heel and had an actual sole on the bottom so if I had to step outside to grab my dog off the chain I didn’t have to put on an entire set of shoes and socks. For fear of getting my slippers wet. These are perfect. We had a little bit of snow dusting the ground and I walked outside and my feet didn’t get wet. I wear these from the time I get out of bed, until the time I decide I want to leave the house.
