The handle is too long for my taste and is annoying. You have to hold it close to the brush to get the right leverage, so I shortened the handle and sanded it to a smooth finish. Now it works much better. The brush is very heavy so it falls off from time to time which means it needs to be cleaned and disinfected every time this happens. It's hard, if it falls on your toes/feet it can be painful. When using the handle, the brush also keeps falling off the handle. It's not ideal. If you squeeze the handle too hard, it will break the brush. A simple fix is to apply some wood glue that will permanently secure the handle. The bristles seem to loosen over time. I've been using it for less than a year and it's significantly weaker and doesn't clean as well as new. The whole idea is to stimulate the lymph, which needs hard bristles. No harsh bristles can cause discomfort, but that's the goal.
